'Buy Bitcoin' Notepad Fetches $1M at Auction

The iconic 'Buy Bitcoin' notepad that was held behind Janet Yellen during a televised House Financial Services Committee hearing in 2017 reportedly fetched $1 million in an auction. The proceeds from the auction will go towards funding the development of Bitcoin layer-2 lightning startup. As per reports, it was purchased at the auction by Tirrel Corp.
