Major Ethereum Layer-2 networks, including Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, zkSync, and StarkWare, have resolved to incorporate Avail's Data Availability solution, as per recent press releases. The development is expected to provide rollup builders a robust platform powered by Avail DA, thereby expediting efficient rollup architectures in the ever-growing Web3 space.
The integration with Arbitrum will allow Orbit builders to utilize Avail DA right after its mainnet launch, thereby eliminating reliance on AnyTrust and its external Data Availability Committee. Avail is in the process of establishing a connection with OP Labs, a key Optimism contributor, to ensure seamless integration and empower Optimism developers to scale their applications effectively.
In alignment with these developments, Polygon aims to integrate Avail DA into its Chain Development Kit (CDK). This incorporation will support developers to effortlessly integrate Avail DA while reinforcing cryptographic security and chain sovereignty. This further guarantees unified liquidity and a scalable infrastructure.
Finally, Avail DA will be merged with zkSync's ZK Stack, leading to a simplified mechanism for customized and interoperable ZK-powered blockchain deployment.
