Scramble for Bonk Meme Coin Sparks Solana Saga Phone Sales Surge

Following months of slow sales, the Solana Saga phone has reportedly become a hot number, selling out on its official platform. These sales coincide with the growing hype surrounding the free Bonk memecoin airdrop. A Solana Saga phone was even sold on eBay for up to $5,000, more than eight times its retail value, due to the heightened demand for the memecoin airdrop.

According to a reported eBay listing dated Dec. 16, two unopened, in-box phones were recently sold for $5,000 or at 'best offer,' while another mobile unit has found a buyer for $3,316 or 'best offer.' Moreover, an additional 20 devices have purportedly sold for over $2,000 over the weekend, resulting in a more than $1,400 profit from the original $599 price tag given on the Solana Mobile website.

This comes as the continuously rising Solana memecoin sparked significant discourse on Twitter for another week, reportedly causing traffic interruptions on several layer two networks.
