Tether Expands USDT and Boosts Peer-to-Peer Payments on TON Network, Enhances Telegram's Appeal

In a major development, Tether has brought its stablecoin USDT to the TON Network, thereby broadening the appeal of Telegram for non-crypto savvy users. This partnership is projected to increase TON's reach significantly among Telegram's vast user base.

The TON network has been witnessing rapid growth, a trend further accelerated by perks offered to encourage Telegram users to come onboard. This amalgamation of USDT onto TON is considered a crucial step towards increasing crypto usage among Telegram's massive user base of 900 million.

This strategic move is also seen as Tether's attempt to amplify the scale of peer-to-peer payments on Telegram by including Dollar and Gold stablecoins on the TON network.
